Annapurna Sanctuary
The Annapurna Himal is a vast massif of several peaks above 7,000m, part of the range that forms a natural amphitheatre known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. It is surrounded by giants such as Annapurna I, Glacier Dome, Gangapurna, Fang and the sacred Machhapuchhare, popularly known as Fish Tail. We visit the marvelous viewpoint of Poon Hill before descending to the Modi Khola valley and through the gates of the Sanctuary. Passing directly below Machhapuchhare, we have a couple of days to explore the amphitheatre before returning to Pokhara via a different route. This is a fairly strenuous alpine trek that gives the fitter walker close-up and unbeatable mountain views.

Our trip itinerary has been designed in a way that allows you to have ample time to help acclimatize with the altitude. Our guides are experienced to act accordingly to the gravity of the mountain sickness . The best remedy for AMS is to go down. So never ignore the symptoms and please talk to your guide or tour leader if you have headaches, feel sick or loose your appetite.
Trekking season
Nepal is ever pleasant through out the year and hence all year round is trekking season.
Spring and summer are great months with most of flowers in bloom, especially rhododendrons in the mountains. Late summer and monsoon are wet but the mountains and hills are covered with lush and green forest. The trek is very much possible, actually good time as few people trek this time, making it perfect occasion who prefer in exploring the quieter paths, when nature is at its best.
Autumn and winter is the season of n settled weather and crystal clear skies which enables clear views of the mountains. This means these popular trails are almost saturated with the trekkers, which sometimes creates a problem to find a place to stay and eat, especially if one is traveling in a small group.
