Promotional Myagdi Community Ecotreks
10 June to 15 June 2012!
After a day long drive to Beni from Kathmandu and then to Galeswor, this much awaited trek to Myagdi Community ecotreks begins from the sacred site Galeshwor. This was a promotional trip with Image Channel, a TV to promote and make aware to the international and national or domestic tourist who loves to explore the unexplored area, see the real village and the people and enjoy being out in the nature. The think is every one who visit here will enjoy this trek very well. The trek went through the villages of Bas Kharka, Nangi, Mohare and Tikot and ended at Baiseri from where the land transportation was used to return to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.
It was an amazing experience for the TV crew, students and trekking operator!
The trip made to interact the locals of the community that are involved in this project to make this an unique model of trekking operation by the whole community for their sustainability and creating jobs, helping in the education sector and the running various community activities for all!
They are also working on the organic farming and understand the importance of nature conservation and cultural preservation very well and are into it.
Not to mention the mountains, that Nepal is famous for, is there! Its the region of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and sacred river of Kali Gandaki that flows betwen these two giant creating the deepest gorge in the world. The mountain view is just awesome and can not describe well by words. You need to be there to see yourself!
So this the area, you must visit once in your life. Its not just trek and village but lots of thing and very inspiring experience!
The trekking tour can be done according to the time available, from 4-10 days though best duration would be 6 and 10 days..
