Accommodation

Most of night during the trek the Home stay and teahouse are used for accommodation, which is very basic and simple. The camping also can be arranged. It’s the local lodge or tea shop during the Langtang and Helumbu trek option.

What to expect

The accommodation or Homestay facilities during the treks are very basic during the trek. The toilet are located outside but near the accommodation area. Though the toilet facilities during the home stay are small and very basic but are kept clean.

Food and water

Wholesome and organic locally produced agricultural food items are available along most of the trail. The water available should be treated with Lugol’s solution or other water purification tablets before use. The bottled water also can be bought at some places but we discourage this practice as it can only burden the environments

Seasons

April-May and September-December but recommended seasons are April-May and September-December

Our Responsible approach

During our treks, we use the designated routes and campsite to avoid negative impact on our degrading environments. The local culture and tradition are respected. During these trips we use Home stay as much as possible to support the local economy. We do not use the firewood and use gasoline or gas for cooking and encourage the solar heating to avoid further deforestation. To avoid littering we educate and aware our clients, staffs and porters to use the right place to dispose the garbage and bring back the non-bio-degradable ones. We do not put the mobile toilet near the water and any other places that is culturally or locally important or sacred. We also try to use the service of local porters and guides if possible. We understand that the conservation is a big issue and should be supported in whatever way we can.

Take nothing but Photographs and Leave nothing but footprints!
