Extremely beautiful and a challenging trek, the Jumolhari trek will take you past the Jangothang base camp and into nomad territory. You will come across many nomadic camps, and their yaks. This trek will also present you with excellent opportunities to take in the scenic natural landscape and to view some wildlife such as the Blue Sheep, Takins, and Marmots.

Flight and heritage tours in the beginning of the tour, a great way to know and experience its rich cultural assets and life style with a hike (must visit) to Tiger’s Nest and embark on this 9 days trek, one of the best adventure treks that Bhutan has to offer with the highest point of 4900m with high passes, open pastures, and fast-flowing rivers. You will start the trek in Paro district and end it in the northern part of the Thimphu valley.

Some trip Basics

It is all inclusive tour with the standards hotel while in cities, on full board for the whole trip for 11 nights and days. The mode of accommodations on the trek is two man tents, all food and staffs and pack animals included

Trip day to day Itinerary

Day01: Flight to Paro in Bhutan and transfer to hotel with short familiarization around and welcome dinner, overnight hotel
Day02: Paro/Thimpu Heritage  tour and hotel
Day03: Hike to Tiger Nest (Takstang Monastery) and overnight hotel
Day04: Start trekking with a drive, arrive and overnight camp at  Shana
Day05: Trek to Thangthanka and overnight camp
Day06: Trek to Jangothang and overnight camp
Day07: Day at Jangothang for acclimatization and rest and explore around. Overnight camp
Day08: Trek to Chora Pang and overnight camp
Day09: Trek Thongbu and overnight camp
Day10: Trek to Shana and drive back to Paro, overnight hotel
Day11: Heritage sightseeing tour and explore around, overnight hotel
Day12: Flight back to Kathmandu or onward destination
