Panchase, located in the west of Pokhara is a moderate hill or danda in Nepali. With an elevation of 2500m, on off the beaten path, it is a great destination for the taste of great hiking experience in Nepal. Culturally and traditionally, it is an important area for pilgrimage, with sacred shrines, lake, Stupa and caves. This area is also extremely rich in flora and fauna that hosts numerous species of wild orchid including two endemic, rhododendrons and herbal plants with several species of birds, butterflies and mammals.
