Hi Vimal,
Thanks for asking. In short, we had a fantastic trek. Both Tabil and Sarood were brilliant. We had mixed weather which unfortunately meant we didn’t get to see everything from the top but we had some great views on the way up and had a lot of fun throughout the whole trek.
Tabil was incredibly attentive to our needs and was always suggesting good ideas as to how to maintain everyone’s energy and health. Nothing was a problem for him. He had great recommendations on our itinerary and was also open to any ideas we also had. He also was very patient and caring with our two boys and very informative on Nepalese culture and way of living.
Sarood was also excellent. And strong!!! He took his work very seriously and was always ready to go and looking to help in any way he could. As the trek progressed more and more of his personality came out and we all really enjoyed his calm demeanour and sense of humour.
Unfortunately our youngest son got a little altitude sickness on the way up. Nothing too serious but it meant we decided to spend an extra night at Badal Danda to make sure he was feeling well enough to go further. Not an issue in itself but it resulted in our trek taking a day longer than intended (I actually didn’t realise this until after the trek when i realised we only had one night in Pokhara instead of two). What that means is that I think I owe you for an extra day. Is that right?
Anyway let me know about that but in the meantime thank you to you, Tabil and Sarood for the wonderful experience!
Kind regards
Bruce
