We went to Vimal’s office and explained that we wanted an easy trek, which we could do in our trainers and with no hiking gear. We also said we preferred to get off the beaten path and meet more locals than tourists.

Vimal understood completely and arranged a wonderful 5-day trek through beautiful villages and landscapes. We saw the himalayas, blooming rhododendron forests and met a lot of friendly locals, who cooked for us and arranged our accommodation along the way.

The guide, Angtu, was a great guy, very helpful and told us a lot about Nepal. Likewise the porter Budiman was kind and we enjoyed having him on the trip, where he also pointed out some sights and flowers to us, even if he doesn’t speak much English.
