Nepal is extremely rich in bird diversity, occupying almost 9% of the world’s birds. The diversity of birds decreases as you go towards higher elevation but there are many special birds that mainly inhabit that particular area. Whereas, lowlands of Nepal is where most of the birds recorded in the country. This tour is a great combination to see and experience the country of both regions of Nepal with the two different habitats of birds, a great way to experience the birds of Nepal, see the mountains nature and local cultures.

Trek and Tour
In this trip, you will tour some of the best parts of the country in terms of mountain views through the Annapurna conservation area community area well known for some of the most spectacular and highest mountain of the world such as Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhare peaks. In the foothill of these specular, inhabits some half of the population of birds species found in Nepal that includes hilly and highland species of birds with numerous other wildlife such as Monkeys, Yellow-throated Marten, Common Leopard, Muntjac and Himalayan Black and Brown Bears etc. So here you will enjoy birds and the mountains at the same area, a perfect place to be!

For bird’s latter part of autumn and winters, the latter part of spring and summer can be the best birds migrate to the lower elevation in the winter and travel back to the hilly and higher part of the elevation in summer.

A pair of binocular (8×42 or 10 x 40 recommended) and telescope if possible, Birds of Nepal field guide, pencil/pen and notebook, and camera.
