The Annapurna range is a vast massif of several peaks above 7000 m, part of the range that forms a natural amphitheater, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, surrounded by Annapurna I, Glacier Dome, Gangapurna, Annapurna Fang and the sacred Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail). You will visit the stunning and most popular Himalayan viewpoint -Poon Hill and descend to Modi Khola valley, through the gate of the Sanctuary at Chhomrong. You will continue to pass directly below Machhapuchhare, have a couple of days to explore the amphitheater, before returning to Pokhara through a different trail towards the end. This can be a strenuous alpine trek but offers an amazing up close and unbeatable mountain views. This is definitely your trip of life for lifetime experience!
